Hello, I’m Waen Shepherd and I’m officially an actor. Primarily a comic actor but I have been known to play serious parts every now and again. I’m not classically trained but I’ve been doing the job for twenty years so it feels a bit too late to apply to drama school now.

Instead I went the “comedy route”, which allowed me to write my own material and generate my own work. But I’ve never considered myself a stand-up. The part I played longest was the New Romantic musician Gary Le Strange, though these days I’m more likely to be recognised as John ‘Paedo’ Kennedy from The Inbetweeners. Hopefully next time we meet you’ll take pity and not shout “Paedo” at me in the street.
