Tracy Stork and Michelle Guilor begin setting up the first ever unofficial Gary Le Strange website! Michelle says, "This is a real breakthrough. A place where Le Strangers can come together from all over the world to discuss and fawn over their favourite pop hero! Well, as soon as we work out how to use the forum software." Tracy adds, "I'm going to marry him when I grow up. And Michelle's going to marry David Bowie." (Michelle also wants to point out that she means Bowie in his Low/Heroes period).

Gary has three gigs lined up for the remainder of the Jan/Feb period! They are:

January 30th: Amused Moose, Archer St, London
February 16th: Hen & Chickens, Highbury, London
February 23rd: Hen & Chickens, Highbury, London

Tracy and Michelle hope they can finish and upload the website before these gigs happen! "This isn't easy when you've got a shit computer that keeps crashing," says Tracy. "Or when you've got a shitload of Maths homework to do," says Michelle.

Nevertheless, we are going to be there, and we'll bring you the reviews as and when they happen.

Gary's manager has sent us the full track listing and provisional cover for Gary's forthcoming CD, The Sex Dummy EP. For all the details, go straight to the Discography page now!

AMUSED MOOSE, January 30th 2003
WOW! This has to be the most amazing show I've ever seen by Gary EVER! It was a shame there weren't a few more people in the audience that night (word has it that the promoters nearly pulled the show when only four people turned up), but a wild night was had by all! Of course, Michelle and me were there in the front row, cheering and screaming like silly schoolgirls. Gary only did two songs, of course, but we still loved him. He was miles better than anyone else on the bill that night, and we should know because WE WERE THERE!!

Tracy Stork, 09.02.03

This was a real treat! Tracy and me got real drunk on Grolsch before the show started, so by the time Gary came on, I was nearly legless! (Tracy can take her drink better than me!) It was great to see Gary in his new "Earl Grey" costume. His new song "Grey" is the best song I have ever heard!! (Apart from, maybe, "Sound and Vision" by David Bowie, and John Foxx's "Underpass".) I can't write much more now because I've got to go help my Dad at the Golf Club, but it really was the best gig I have ever, ever seen, and I CAN'T WAIT for the Sex Dummy EP!

Michelle Guilor, 09.02.03

Sorry it's been so long since we wrote anything! Actually, you wouldn't notice, because this site isn't even online yet!!! But it will be soon. Today we have added the Reviews page, which will be filled (eventually!) with reviews of all Gary's live gigs (well, at least the ones we can get to! But even if he was playing in the middle of Siberia, we'd still be there in the front row! We love him!

So far the Reviews page only has one review on it, but pretty soon we will be adding reviews of MORE GIGS, and the long-awaited
Sex Dummy EP! We keep wetting our knickers just thinking about it! (Which is about forty times a day!)

Michelle's had to go off and help her Dad behind the bar at the Golf Club this afternoon, so I've been left behind to try and get the site on the web!! We haven't bought the domain name yet, but we thought it might be a good idea to find out how to use our free webspace from NTL. Lots of our mates think we're WEEURD doing a website about our favourite pop star (especially because he's a total unknown! But he won't be for long!!) So maybe if we get the site up soon, they'll stop laughing at us and START LOVING GARY LE STRANGE!!

PHEW! I finally managed to upload the site after all the hassle! I must say, staring at the computer screen all day has made me feel a bit dizzy! (As has looking at photos of Gary--cor, he's so dreamy!) Anyway, the site is there. All we have to do now is buy the domain name!! Michelle said she was going to ask her Dad for the money this afternoon. I know it's only 7.50, but her Dad's a bit scary sometimes when he's had a bit to drink. Once he told me I looked like a stick, and that if I didn't put some weight on, he was going to throw me across the park for his dog!! Let's hope he was in a better mood today! Trace xxx

HEN & CHICKENS, February 16th 2003
COR!! This was just GREAT!! Gary was in his Earl Grey costume again, and this time he did THREE--YES, THREE SONGS--including the little-heard Geometry, which now seems to have new lyrics. His dancing was superb, his voice was simply amazing, and I almost fainted when he sang Grey. It has to be the best song of all time. I hung around in the pub downstairs afterwards to see if I could get a chance to talk to him. Unfortunately, he spent most of his time talking to other girls, but I hung around long enough to make sure he didn't get off with any of them. I missed the last tube home and had to get a cab, which cost me nearly 14 (!!! - my Mum had to pay this) but it was still one of the best nights of my entire life!

Tracy Stork, 17.02.03

As it was Sunday, I had to go to the Golf Club again with my Dad, which meant I was late doing my homework and he made me stay in to finish it that night. Which means I missed the gig. But I'm glad Tracy had a good time.

HEN & CHICKENS, February 23rd 2003
Another amazing set from Gary, this time in an all-new costume with a hat and a cane. His set was better than ever--Can you imagine Ballerina, Sex Dummy and Grey all in one sitting? I can, because I've seen it! Gary still didn't get off with anyone afterwards, but I thought I saw him looking at someone's boobs at one point, which I didn't like. The tube didn't break down this time, so I got back without having to ask my Mum for the cab fare, but she gave me the money anyway, and said "Go out and get yourself something nice tomorrow"!! I've been back at school today, so it's been a bit of a drag, but I might bunk off tomorrow and get myself a "Sex Dummy" t-shirt made at the print shop down the road.

Michelle hasn't been round today, but she didn't manage to get there last night anyway, so no review from her again!

Tracy Stork 24.02.03

Michelle's been on holiday this week and should have been due back today but didn't turn up at school! At least I got to see Gary doing another blinding gig again last night at the Hen & Chickens (see Reviews page). I hope she hurries up and gets back soon! Once we get the domain name money, we can launch our website properly!! Trace xxx

EALING STUDIOS, February 27th 2003
As you know, we would never miss a Gary gig (well, I wouldn't anyway--Michelle obviously isn't quite as big a fan as me!!) But the two of us managed to get there anyway--EVENTUALLY. As tube fans might know, the Central Line has been down for about a month now, since that horrific crash at the end of January. Which means that it takes about two hours to get to Ealing from our house! (Just to point out, I mean the house where me and my Mum live, not where me and Michelle live, because me and Michelle don't live together. We might do next year though, while we take our year out before going to University--TOUCH WOOD!!) And then, when we got there, we couldn't find the venue! We had to ask around and everybody kept giving us different directions! And even when we did find it, it wasn't really obvious where the main stage was, and we ended up sitting in a car park for 20 minutes crying! By the time we got there, Gary had already been on and left the building!! WE WERE SO UPSET!!! It was enough though to know that Gary had just been there--we spent a bit of time sniffing the front of the stage to try to pick up his scent--and we also had the privilege of talking to one of Gary's friends afterwards (though we were so drunk, I can't remember his name!!) Michelle should be able to tell me his name later because she ended up going back to his flat afterwards. I unfortunately missed the last tube home and almost had to sit in the train station all night, but my Mum got up out of bed and drove all the way to Ealing to pick me up! Can you imagine that? What a great Mum!! It was a tough ordeal last night, but I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR GARY!!!

INTERESTING FACTOID: According to Gary's friend, the venue he played last night is the exact same place they recorded the theme tune to Blake's Seven! Can you imagine that?? Trace xxx

HURRAY! Finally we got the domain name and got the site up and running! If this is your first trip here today, then welcome to our new website! Michelle's Dad coughed up the money eventually, and we paid our 7.50, which means that we can now officially use WWW.GARYLESTRANGE.CO.UK as our web address! Amazing, isn't it? Michelle did say that maybe, since my Mum gave me 15 for nothing last week, I should have paid for it myself. Unfortunately I'd already spent the money on a new hat, so I couldn't do it. Michelle got the money out of her Dad in the end, but she has to do the washing up for a week! OOOPS!! Anyway, it's me who has to bunk off school today to do all the work on this site. Michelle had Monday off, so I don't see why I shouldn't do the same today.

Added today: a review of Gary's performance last night at Ealing Studios!! And special news about the Sex Dummy EP!!
To come soon: More Gary gigs! Review of the EP! And a page all about the Neo-Regency face Warrior Movement! If only I can find the time!!

Incredible news has happened yesterday! Michelle & me have been expecting to get a copy of the Sex Dummy EP in the post for quite a while now, but we didn't expect to get it today! And even less did we expect there to be a SIGNED LETTER FROM GARY in the envelope with it!! The letter from Gary is beautifully written (typed on an old electric typewriter) and it gives us QUITE A LOT TO THINK ABOUT!!

What's even almost just as good (or maybe better--we can't make up our minds!!) is that we have now heard The Sex Dummy EP in its total, finished entirety!  It's safe to say that we think IT ROCKS (or is that, "it pops"??) and it is THE BEST RECORD EVER MADE IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF HUMANITY!!!

Also in the letter is a pack of photographs that are bang up to date, and miles better than the ones we already had on our site! We can't scan them in just yet because our scanner is busted (we tried to scan in Gary's letter and it just went all wrong!) and we will have to wait until later in the week to get it fixed! But we know you're gonna luv 'em!! They are so sexy and so good that you are just going to DIE when you see them!!!

One of the best things about Gary's letter is that, only one day after our official launch, we are going to be allowed to become the OFFICIAL website for Gary Le Strange!! And he also suggests that me and Michelle should form our own band! What a great idea!! We don't have any songs yet, but we're going to think up our new stage names and design our costumes and make-up over the coming weeks! Things just get better and better!

Sometimes I feel like I am dancing on the bridge between sanity and madness, the strong winds of beauty blowing over me so much that I dance like a faerie princess!
