As well as being an actor, writer and comedian I am also a composer, comedy songwriter and electronic musician. Though music-making started as a hobby, it developed into part of my stage act when I became the New Romantic pop star Gary Le Strange and, from there, developed into a semi-profession.

Over the past decade, I have written songs, theme tunes and incidental scores for various (largely comedy-related) TV, radio and stage projects including The Day the Music Died for BBC Radio 2, The Wall for BBC 3 and Danny Robins’ Music Therapy for BBC Radio 4. I also recently won the prize for ‘Most Original Composition’ in the Spectrasonics/Moog OMG-1 Contest.
