Too Much Good Stuff
I can't be bothered to write an editorial piece for this month's site update so I thought that, since my main updates this time around are all picture-based, I should say what I want to say as wordlessly* as possible...
Happy New Year! I wrote this myself just so you know I'm putting some kind of effort in and not just nicking pictures off the internet

MORE THAN WORDS...

Things I can't bring myself to verbalise, January 16, 2012

*OK, the pictures have extensive captions, but I make the rules
Peeder Jigson's Video Diary (with me as Howard Shore) is now available to view on Youtube and various other places. We filmed it at my home just before Christmas 2011. I wrote the music for it as well so hurray for me. Click the pic to view
And here's Gareth tunley's previous film, Special Forces, which I wrote the music for and spectacularly failed to publicise on my site when it went live last November. Not to worry, it got 237,000 views without my help. One more if you click on this pic
The main update to the site this time round is an all-new Gallery section, which took me ages, so I do hope you like it. Including highly embarrsasing pictures of me in dungarees age 7 and terrible comic strips I wrote when I was 12
But that's nothing compared with the other new section I created, dedicated totally to Press cuttings from the past 30 years. This took me weeks and by the end of it I was sick of hearing about me, so I can't see anyone else spending much time there. Still, at least it proves I was alive once, and that's what counts
And then, in December, an interesting mural (which has now been confirmed as a genuine Banksy) suddenly appeared at the end of our road. I snapped this before I knew what it was. And no, I am not Banksy. But then again, if I was Banksy, I would say that, wouldn't I? OK then, maybe I am Banksy, but I'm not telling.
And finally, here's another handwritten note, just to say thank you. Not for anything in particular, just for being you. Look, there's even a box of chocolates for you. Awww...
Paul 'Didymus' Holmes very kindly included me on the 2012 Calendar for The Velvet Onion this year (I'm December, with Rich Fulcher & Tony Way). We're already several weeks into the year so well done Waen for being so punctual with that announcement. Still, I've never been on a calendar before (except for special narcissistic ones I made myself) so it's a great honour. Click this link if you're calendarless and need to know what day it is
Sadly my attempt to grow a moustache for Movember (see my last editorial post in Nov 2011) got scuppered when I had to shave my moustache off for various boring work-related reasons. But I did manage two weeks' growth, which ended up looking like this.
