Promo for Gary’s third single from the initial phase of the Chromium Dockyardsessions, directed by me and my wife Katy as a (mainly) harmonious team. The song is a holdover from Glamoronica, which I never truly loved (I just don’t think it’s that funny) so it didn’t make either album, but it did demand a stupid video, and that made it all worthwhile. As with the video for Shut Up Mum, the general feel is ultra low budget, but with all the props and models and dummies and location filming and costume changes, you definitely can’t accuse us of not putting the effort in. We spent six days filming it from 13 to 21 August 2015, but the editing only took a further nine days over October and November. So almost but not quite as complex as this one.
