… and the rest
HISTORY 1 October 1979 - October 1981 The only History book I got through at Fairburn School. It’s entirely filled with things copied from books, so there’s no original thought whatsoever. But if you want to see some of the worst-copied pictures ever known to humankind, please step inside.
SCIENCE 1 October 1979 - April 1980 The History book, but upside down and back to front, where we wrote up our science experiments - all four of them - as a cost-saving measure.
GEOGRAPHY 1 September 1979 - February 1981 A mess of a book which starts out just like the others, with relatively neatly-copied rubbish about the birth of New York, then rapidly descends into scruffy incoherence. Not funny. And not always Geography either. But marginally interesting in its own weird scruffy way.
FAIRBURN The place where I wrote all this rubbish
Clarke Hall The place and time where it all began… September 1679?
The Forgotten World John and Mick fall foul of some extreme potholing
The Old Stone Age Ancient humans try to co-exist with cave lions and giant deer
TOPIC 2 The one where it all kicks off
TERM 1 A day-by-day account of Waen’s first term at Fairburn School
ENGLISH 1 A few tentative steps into a world of terrible writing
TOPIC 1 He knows the names of all the dinosaurs
TERM 2 The birth of the 1980s - Blake’s 7, Blondie and battles in space

ODDS & ENDS 1980 - 1982 Various loose bits of paper, home-made comics and wannabe books I made during my time in Fairburn. Currently just a home- made Easter card but I’ll add to this section over time.
Happy Easter! A home made Easter card I made for my Mum and Dad
Ward’s 7 John Ward and his band of rebels fight the evil Federation
Captain Carnivore Gary Shepherd is hunted down by a deadly flying meteor
Optical Illusion Time Amazing visual tricks that will boggle your mind!
